What it is
This project entailed the integration of the Shares Trading System developed by Sky World Limited to Business Central.
This project was successfully done in October 2025 and I was tasked for developing the SOAP APIs of the following services:
- Validation of shares trading eligibility for SACCO members as guided by the SACCO’s share trading rules.
- Initiation of shares trading transactions and withholding of both share amounts and purchase funds from utilization until the shares transfer transaction is completed or cancelled.
- Automated reversal of withheld share amounts and purchase funds when the shares transfer transaction is cancelled.
- Automated posting of the shares transfer transactions, including revenue fees to the GL for successfully matched bids.
