Mwalimu National - Direct Debit Payments

What it is

This 2025 project entailed the integration of Family Bank direct debit payments services into Business Central for loan repayments and savings account deposits.

SOAP API integration was used to connect Family Bank to Business Central. The following services were integrated:

1. Validation of deposit accounts in Business Central
2. Deposit of uncleared direct debit payments to Business Central
3. Automated reversal of bounced/unpaid direct debits payments in Business Central.
4. Automated clearing of direct debits in Business Central after the configured clearing period by use of nightly job queues.
5. Automated GL posting of direct debit transactions including revenue account credits.
