What it is
This is an ongoing project since 2025 whereby I was tasked with overseeing the successful integration of the following third parties services into Business Central:
- SMART Claims Integration (SMART Applications)
- Curacel Health (Curacel)
- Bulk SMS (Sky World Limited)
SMART Claims Integration - SMART Applications
Linking of Business Central with SMART REST APIs to achieve the following:
- Fetching of Claims - Pending claims raised from various health providers through SMART are imported into Business Central for further processing.
- Claim Processing Status Updates - Status updates of claims are automatically pushed from Business Central to SMART.
- Claim Documents Management - PDF claim documents retrieved from SMART are embedded in Business Central for easy viewing by ERP users.
Curacel Health - Curacel
Linking of Business Central with Curacel Health APIs to achieve the following:
- Claim Processing and Adjudication - Claims approved in Business Central are pushed to Curacel via REST API for vetting and adjudication.
- Claim Vetting Updates - Vetted claims are automatically pushed from Curacel to Business Central for payments processing by the ERP users.
Bulk SMS - Sky World Limited
Implementation of Business Central integration to SMS gateway to send SMS notifications of different categories such as:
- ERP Alerts - Alerts for ERP user tasks such as workflow approval.
